The Digital Plague
Designer, Art Direction, Photography, Editor
Developed as a final collection at IUAV University of Venice, this project investigates the erosion of autonomous thought in the digital age.
It centers on a dystopian reality where humanity no longer thinks, but merely scrolls. Drawing on Deleuze’s concept of repetition and Dawkins’ ‘selfish meme’, the collection portrays identity as a fragmented, hyperreal loop.
Through a ‘cyber-glam’ aesthetic, the narrative follows two symbiotic archetypes: the Rotters, passive victims of nomophobia, and the Resilients, who struggle to reclaim a lost reality.
